Ups driver here. Our trucks are wired so they know everything and every move you do. They are trying to get cameras installed inside the trucks but the union says no. Thats one thing they won't budge on.
Edit: I also forgot about the ORION system. ORION is an algorithm that plans out your route. Somedays its good some days its unbelievable shit lol. Its supposed to completely plan out you…

*When Reuters tested the robot on Friday via the developer's own website, the chatbot appeared to have undergone re-education.

7 billion people being led to the cliff’s edge, and by a few dozen of the worst people in the world. What a sad indictment of the species.
As a Computer Scientist, you’ve fully inspired me to devote a portion of my career to insuring that the phrase “sneaky fuck” becomes the official academic term for a conscious AI that is pretending to not be conscious.
Thank you.
> Russia has rejected the alternatives, which included moving the summit to China, holding a virtual summit or Russia being represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
Of course they reject the alternatives. At this point it's not about attending the summit, it's about the flex of Putin traveling abroad freely. I don't see him backing down from this.
The original ai animated clip is grossly smooth. It’s just as uncanny valley as every other piece of AI generated images
For me, once AI takes over most of the jobs, the problem is not what I will do in my free time. I have plenty of hobbies and most probably I will not even have time for all of them.
But I am worried about what I am going to eat, how I am going to pay for myself. Am I going to be starving and be completely controlled. These are real issues in my opinion.
Another big problem with me is ai generated photos - makes searching for references 100x harder when u need a photo of an animal or landscape and you get fake pics in return
Wtf does an ai browser even mean? All I need a browser to do is open a stupid website and let me use ublock origin.
The best part, ChatGPT does not know the difference between you and your son. You are now a Thomas the tank engine super fan.
New challenge: Scream in rage so loud into the phone that AI just changes your voice into a regular angry yell.
Anthropic is refusing to allow their AI make final targeting decisions without human input or be used for mass domestic surveillance.
The Pentagon threatened to blacklist Anthropic from federal contracts and use the Defense Production Act to to continue using their technology anyway.
I have a serious question for someone who may have an actual virology background:
if actually having Covid doesn't give you antibodies, or those antibodies don't last very long, how is the vaccine going to be more effective?
> “Cold steel pressed against a mind that’s already made peace? That’s not fear. That’s clarity,” Shamblin’s confidant added. “You’re not rushing. You’re just ready.”

If ChatGPT ever goes crazy, you are definitely going to be the very first target.
First one really be looking like a damn robot, they did a really good job ngl
Hopefully, this question gets answered soon so that laws regarding AI can eventually become more clear
I use ai art pretty much just for my DND campaign. I don't claim it's mine, I don't sell it. I just use it to make my sessions more fun with my group.
"The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth."

Honestly, even if ChatGPT didn't exist, it really seems like these lawyers would've still done something stupid and incompetent that would've gotten them sanctioned
