I don’t know if they always do their job right. AI is very new so has allot of development…in its future.
How it is applied is up in the air, as of now, and keeps changing. With the medical establishment being the business that it is…you always need to consider that there is a pressure always to do more with less.
For managers, it’s very seductive…to push shortcuts that step between real living doctors and patient’s.
We’ve already seen situations where doctors are kind of told what treatments to provide by the insurance companies and the hospital. They would make different decisions if they could. Doctors don’t always feel free or supported to do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
Maybe in a perfect world with a perfect batch of Data and perfect doctors that were allowed to put the patient first, I would have fewer…concerns. 😄
