@ScallopHolden Midjourney was trained on other people's artwork, giving it a reference isn't the same as training it. You're essentially prompting it with an image instead of text, all of the plagiarism issues still apply. Refer to the part of this video where the training process is described, or educate yourself some more on how these models work. Midjourney wouldn't be able to function at all if your art was the only thing it trained on.
