Not a bad combination to have Cognitive Psychology and CS, I also did CS with industrial Psychology which was also what got me curious about the mathematical models of neurons for the convolutional/recurrent neural networks and the multi-layer perceptron (input, hidden/filters, output) which uses feed forward method, back propagation method and synaptic weights for non-linear classification/regression and time series of deep learning tasks (this was the early stage of AI that could handle complex tasks but it was not scalable) and that was before the new LLM frontier of Transformers/Decoder blocks with Multi-Head Self-Attention, Feed-Forward Network (FFN), MLP(Multilayer Perceptron), Backward Propagation (Gradient flow) and the advanced Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) as the new AI design model that is highly scalable to billions/trillions of parameters.
