I think it's important to note that this version of chatGPT couldn't actually hear you, and it wasn't actually speaking to you. That version uses a text to speech AI. They are planning to release chatGPT-4o this fall which will be able to hear and speak naturally within its own "blackbox" so it will be interesting to see how the conversation goes then the more complex it gets.
