What AI bros do not understand is the fact that the visuals are not the point of a good story. They can easily take a great novel, run it through the prompt and get beautiful, generic illustration for that novel. Cool, I guess. But it is the novel, not the illustrations, that make people like the story. It is the amalgamated variety human experiences, condensed into a story and into compelling characters what people connect with. Everybody and their mother can come up with a good prompt. Only a few can come up with a few thousand word that make up a great stroy. AI cannot replace that.
