There's an issue a lot of artist don't seem to get. Sometimes, it's just not reasonable to tell someone "You just need to practice" Some people like myself just can't visualize how to get from point A to point B when drawing 2D art. It doesn't matter how much I practice and try and try and try, I'll never be an artist. If it's not looking perfect to me from the moment I put the first line down, my brain just gives up. And this isn't a commitment issue either, because I have to force myself to learn absolutely everything because I have no talents I fostered as a child. And I'm doing alright with coding. Luckily I'm having a VERY slightly better time with 3D art in blender, but still. Side note, I'm not condoning AI "art" I'm just saying that I wish people would stop saying "You just need to practice" it genuinely doesn't help. And most of the time it's not other people telling us that we can't draw, it's ourselves. You know, that inner voice that can prevent you from wanting to do literally anything? Yeah, that asshole. Screw him. Dumb sand eating baby.
