My personal take is I will not consider myself as an artist (yet) because I don't really believe art is just for gifted ppl or else. My assertion is that the artists spent a lot of times years for years hardworking with determination and dedication and I *really don't have* time to spend that much for drawing every single day and learn faster or quicker. Also, my stance that I will never use AI even for reference is that I feel really bad for younger or the people who just started art to feel discouraged (let's be honest, even the pro artists are the victims of this as much as ppl claim pro artists are just insecure and 'selfish') and I don't want to hurt any of them; I don't want to see the people's works to get underappreciated. I have that pessimism spirit the guy has but not about gifted, but I feel like I'm not working hard enough.
