Raw LLM Responses

I used to be a big advocate for AI art until the traction it got shifted the previously wholesome and well-intentioned community in a very different direction, once it became commercially viable and the tech bros started coming in and ruining it. The new AI art content creators and advocates I see now have such an extremely disrespectful attitude towards human artists. Many artists rightfully misunderstand how the technology works and in response they're just ridiculed and told they are all gonna be replaced... this tech would not even exist without them, the absolute least that community could do is work on a solution that helps artists keep their value, starting with banning the absolutely unethical option to create models to generate imitations in someone else's style (an obvious precursor to a tech that could to be sold to huge companies so they dont have to hire that artist) That is fundamentally different from a human doing the same thing, which takes years of practice and then many hours of work, (idk why they'd want to spend all that work working towards copying someone else's style anyway since it wouldnt really give them a good reputation in the art space or give themselves much value in the first place?) I was really enjoying messing with some of that AI stuff and now it just doesn't feel right or fun anymore, given the state of things.
