I am not an artist, I sure wanted to be one someday but I just have zero resolve to push myself to practice.
Anyway I kinda feel the same about AI art its nice to look at but I have no interest in looking closely into thinking about how was it made and what even I'm looking at, all I ever notice is errors in logic, weird artifacts, and occasional smudges that you wouldn't notice at first.
But I mean it was exciting to watch Minecraft parkour civilization, we know it's scripted but it doesn't make it less interesting
