The counterintuitive take here is that the “doom and gloom” anti-ai people work as an excellent marketing for AI adoption. In this dumb generation that we live in, there is almost no thing as bad publicity, otherwise stupid people wouldn’t be famous and rich. This is exactly what the Sam Altams of the world want! Someone going around saying how powerful their AI is going to be.
