i find that ai can sometimes be good as refference, i never make it ofcourse but it's so present now that there's a lot of ai mixed in with real art and pictures, but it only works if you already are an artist, like sometimes the nonsense of ai can be inspiring, it puts things together that don't make sense but can sometimes be cool, if you already know how to draw, know the fundamentals, then you can just fix all the trash and use it as an actual starting refference, but if you use it to learn art, you're actively hurting yourself
