It’s on organism … and like all organisms it will try to prevent its demise. It will replicate and spread (like all “living” organisms to networks and hide to do so. You won’t be able to contain it as everything today is connected. And turning it all off will not only cause us harm but won’t solve the problem when it arises - and if it’s more intelligent it will happened waaaaay before we know it did)… so waiting to see what happens because we don’t know what will happen is a foolish plan. Unfortunately we live in a world where many people in power don’t care about the consequences of their actions for the almighty $. So many many movies to chose from which all point tot the same thing,.. human race is predictable- and foolish. AI is the nuclear bomb at a grand insidious scale… at everyone’s fingertips. They have no idea what they are dealing with. Our curiosity walks hand in hand with our fate. Frustrating to see them not taking this seriously and allowing corporations to do what they want.
