Because it's not about the West. It's about democracy and freedom versus tyranny and imperialism. Every democracy, regardless of where they are located, should be supporting Ukraine's right to defend itself against an invader, especially a fascist invader that intends to destroy Ukrainian democracy and freedom and has been committing horrible crimes against humanity in the occupied territories.
