When has an image *not* been "fake" to some extent or another? The lens you choose, the framing, the lighting you do, the color grading you use, etc... all those massively impact the shot. Never mind the whole aspect of photoshop as well! And all this was long before AI hit the scene.

Using AI is not a sin, it's just another means of gathering information. Accepting the results of an AI query as the absolute gospel truth is a sin. I was surprised by the results and did my own testing so my post is now my opinion not the opinion of AI. That being said do your own testing and draw your own conclusion.

I don’t think they do currently. I think that if/when they do, they will be algorithms. Saying they aren’t X because they’re an algorithm/software is like saying we aren’t conscious or sapient because we’re just a bunch of biochemical circuits or a series of cells shooting proteins at one another.
