@markupton1417big difference here the jobs won’t come back. Everyone predicting this world economic forum Fortune 500 company. The question is when not if it happens.
It depends what you mean by our current predicament? You really think dooming by killing automation will help? If ask me believing in scfi story trope ai destroying humans is not a fantasy but true, sounds juvenile lot more then predicting more automation.
What you against technology? By automating most jobs will let human do other things. Automation will make money which can be used for ubi or just extending existing services.
