One of the most significant days of my CS degree was in University of Texas's OS course, where the professor spends an entire day talking about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Therac-25. It's a deadly serious lecture about hubris in coding and how complacency has a real possibility to hurt people.
Obviously an extreme example, but I think from an ethical perspective it could make sense for ChatGPT to have boundaries around this.
