@rjvtechnologies AI companies stole artist's work that was used in training data. That's the problem. That's why artists are suing them. That's why Getty images is suing them. And it's not just artists and artistic businesses data in the training set, there's things like people's medical data in the training sets. And the ai companies saw no reason to compensate any of these groups.
The irony of ai companies stealing from Getty images is that Getty images shows how it's done, because they had to pay photographers to license photos for their business model. Getty images doesn't just steal photographs on the internet to make their business model work. AI companies do.
