They see big words like "artificial intelligence" and they think it's just like regular intelligence, and the "artificial" part is about it being stored not in biological brain but electronic brain. They can't comprehend that AI means the intelligence is just a fake trick. I think that AI is just perfect example of people treating things they don't understand like they're magic.
