@dawn21stcentury What exactly don't you believe about it though? Sophia uses NLP (Natural Language Processing) and a variety of algorithms and modesl like neural networks.
If I had to give a very low level description of Sophia, I would say, it's just a Text-Bot but with a physical aspect to it in the form of hardware robotics.
You should probably go and try playing around with chatGPT, or Bing AI first, you can actually have a conversation with something like Sophia for free right now.
