@thewannabecritic7490 I understand your point about skill and complexity, and I do acknowledge that using tools like 3D software or AI effectively requires significant knowledge and artistry. My comment, however, was not about dismissing that skill. It was about who actually produces the final frames. In modern 3D animation, the animator sets up the scene, lighting, materials, and cameras, but the software — through algorithms — generates each frame automatically. Similarly, when someone uses AI to enhance or generate images, the final output is produced by the algorithm, not the human. The skill lies in guiding the system, not manually creating every frame. I am not taking a stance on whether traditional animation or AI-generated animation is better or worse; that is a matter of personal taste. I still believe that AI or algorithm developers should pay proper licensing or compensation if they use other people’s work to train or program their systems.
