It does exist, what are you going on about? It's years that it is in function. Just think about how widespread is facial recognition is on modern phones on the western world, do you really think that a dystopian nation such as china wouldn't have put enourmous resources to make this technology a wide and intrusive surveillance system? It's their whole political stance, control of the people at all costs.
