@johnjimmy8074 my guess would be it will follow the similar way as movies, games and porn.. people become more and more numb and craving something more extreme, obscene or grotesque. the first horror movie we saw was damn scary, the 300th ultra violent graphical horror movie hardly affects people. People will just chase the dragon into obscurity to the point where things get bizarre, and ai will happily satisfy human curiosity all the way in greater detail than before. In a way people get to experience 'more things', but simulated, so not sure it will make people 'dumber', (but the lack of problem solving skills will for sure). Not sure a bad movie makes you grow at all, it's just bad training data and you are now a tiny bit more stupid than before cause you wasted those neurons, but sure can see you learning from the bad too. people may become more inventive and creative chasing the obsession. but yeah, ultimately, it's the death by entertainment. might be good sides to that, as well as bad, as long as people can keep it virtual
