Not really, no. The best analogy I've seen is that AI art is like getting a snack from the vending machine.
It's only when you compare the chocolate from a vending machine to a chef's work that we run into issues. In art terms, AI generated images hold a different purpose than human art.
AI images can (currently) replace illustrators, not artists.
