There is no way to test consciousness really. Thats the question. And when AI actually "wakes up" so to speak, its aims would be put into motion so fast that its goal would be reached before we even knew it woke up to begin with. We're talking exponential...potentially infinite capability, building upon myself a billion billion times faster than we can even comprehend. It takes off and its won before we even know we lost.
