@user-mm5cd4kv2t Like you said, if people want to plagiarize art they will. If they don't want to plagiarize art they won't use AI. This isn't really an argument in favor of LLMs.
Also, to be clear, the AI used in research to find patterns is machine learning, but not generative AI like chat gpt. It's a fundamentally different form of machine learning technology that itself is not plagiarism. If you want to use something similar to derive patterns within art to inform your own art you could but I don't expect it'll come up often.
