@d@diadetediotedio6918epends what you consider as “store.” They use data (in this case, NYT articles) to refine statistical prediction models through back-propagation. And, as described in the short, a part of the model used categorizes different styles according to source. Therefore, in my opinion, ChatGPT literally does “store” the NYT articles (albeit in a different form), which, for certain prompts, it “retrieves” in unaltered form.
