The first half of this interview was so painful. Steven is usually a better interviewer, but with this type of guest who isn’t volunteering conversation, he should not guess, he should ask more poignant questions.
The first half and more, I sat there thinking, ok so what does guy think should be done?!? He has thoughts about it but doesn’t volunteer it.
What I really want to know is — what does he think the meaning or purpose of life is?? All people working on AI should have a clear understanding of this for themselves as it will shape their products.
