@nicok.1491 Yet he was co founder of open ai, pumped vast amounts of money into gpt up to 2018. He only left when the ceo refused to let him run it, so musk left. Why did they part ways? ... because Musk was 'concerned' it wasnt developing fast enough! and was losing out to google in the race....
For someone so concerned, don't you question his decisions? Like deciding to train an ai model to drive 2 ton teslas... on real roads (which promptly killed several people). That may in fact make him the only person in history to develop an ai... that actually killed someone...
He only wants it to slow down when he's trying to catch up with his own rival AI.
Sorry if he really is a prophet of the dangers, he is also the one determined to fulfil his own prophecies... maybe he just wants to blame everyone else when it goes wrong, and will say no one stopped him from doing it.
