In the next decade, robotics and AI will probably be more integrated than it is now. There are already construction robots who can do 3 peoples work and work all day a day all night. Do you really have any idea what robotics are being done behind the scenes? One day, that technology will be cheap enough for construction companies to start knocking you blue collar idiots out of work. By that time, all those “desk jockeys” will have been living with AI and found new work that hasn’t been affected but it.
Also, the “I’m gonna be dead by the time any of this happens so I don’t care what happens” mentality is a lil beta snowflake mentality. Good luck in 10-15 years when your body gives out and you’re replaced by Robots with advanced AI and you wasted your youth trying to be a blue collar shill.
