How is that the best case scenario?
The base case scenario is that AI tools for jobs become so easily available that the barrier to entry is low enough that we bring prices down.
Such that, ideally, it would be reasonable for someone to work for a small business researching/improving some specialty of AI based system until they can afford to buy some personal systems slowly lowering their cost of living to effectively zero and allowing them to focus on whatever other tasks (like art/entertainment/entrepreneurship) they want.
