For another example of this, I once spent three hours repeatedly trying to get ChatGPT to write a knitting pattern for kicks. I couldn't get a single example that wouldn't need to be totally rewritten just to exist in reality. Things like "triangle" scarves that never increased or decreased (aka, a RECTANGLE), or one row's instructions calling for 212 stitches to be worked over 45 stitches from the previous row (aka, how am I supposed to pull eight inches of nonexisting fabric out of my ass?). It excelled at writing patterns that SOUNDED like a pattern, sure, they had all the k2togs and the m1ls and the s1yok2pssos you could want, but it had no way to actually conceptualize that as an actual thing that exists logically.
