Assumed the pedestrian would stop? She was already in the middle of the road at night. A car can Not "assume" , its makes decisions based on informations we humanes give.
Its 4 years since the accident and still now AI is completly new.
The Car shouldnt be even the disussion Here. I See two people wo make terrible decisions. The pedestrian could be in an aweful mental state or in another scenario an anjmal crossing the road.
