@thewannabecritic7490 Trust me, it won't make it better it will make it worse. Ivestors are only good at one thing: squeezing pennies. Those same investors that are going to get complete control are the same ones that have enshittified the arts the last 25 years. The artists were the last bastion keeping the shit to shoe level against investor pressure to enshittify the product, now that is gone and the consumer will get even worse media as a result. My OP wasn't a defense or attack on AI, it was pointing out the power dynamics of the situation: these lawsuits aren't going to help artists or even the arts, so if you're an artist or consumer don't get too excited about the lawsuits.
