You’re entirely missing the point, as Benton pointed out, this isn’t just a replacement for muscles or something that makes manufacturing easier, it’s a replacement for human mental output.
If it’s no big deal, what kind of jobs do you think _won’t_ be replaced by AI and eventually humanoid robots?
That’s only a doomer perspective if you think we won’t be able to find an answer, but I don’t currently see how we’ll find one. (That means I don’t think we *won’t* be able to, but it’s going to require a complete revolution in our social structure.)
