@hobosorcerer Poisoning doesn't work on loras in the same way it doesn't work on larger models, but nobody even has millions of 'poisoned' images to train a large model on. Inevitably, it'd fail, but for now at least the snake oil salesman can pretend there is hope and grift artists for donations. There's no harm in using it if makes you feel good though :) I'm not adapting fast enough to even keep up with AI personally. There's Flux, Stable Diffusion 3.5, and AuraFlow out now, all of which can be downloaded and kept forever, and more are in the works. The tools side has exploded and I can't even count how many plugins there are that I haven't tried or don't even know exist. We'll all be playing catch up for a few years until the technology matures and we see how things pan out. I don't care how it pans out on the copyright side and if somehow it pans out that you can't profit from AI, then that's fine. I'd much rather it stay wild and free than the inevitable corporate takeover. I don't think there's much hope on that front though short of a copyright on style, which would be far worse for artists as Disney buys up all the popular styles.
