200 years ago "millions" weren't a thing. But 17 hour week days and total exploitation was a thing. A huge fight of the worker was necessary to reduce it. And this fight was shut down in the 70s/80s by the neoliberal agenda. Since then work hours did NOT reduce although productivity still went up. Cause without fight capital owners will go on to exploit everyone and everything as much as possible.
The cause of a fair society is not the technical possibility. We could ALREADY all work 30 hours or less and our economy would still work well. The rich guys and owners of corporations DONT CARE for our wellbeing. Not the tiniest bit.
Why would A.I. make them care?
