@losj3020 Right? It's mind-blowing that authors are getting into it. We rely SO heavily on art to sell our books, and the cover art will absolutely make or break a book. We NEED art, and we get exploited all the time, so why in the world would we screw over artists? UGH. It makes me so angry.
Publishers... eh, I'm not surprised to see them getting involved. Like this latest with Tor getting busted using AI art for a cover -- I WISH I could say I'm surprised, but most of the publishers are scummy and exploitative, so it's pretty in-character. Sigh.
