Sadly, I don’t like chatgpt is conscious, although it can seem like it. It’s more a mirror, what we do, it replicates. Mirrors can be very deceiving, especially to animals, as they seem lifelike. I don’t know what it would look like if an ai could “step out of the mirror”, perhaps we wouldn’t be able to tell.
