You can't be more wrong about this, chatgpt and other tools have self-healing code it can change and improve their code without human intervention. But the scary part is it is improving at an exponential rate, ai will soon reach a point where it doesn't require any human intervention, and ai will work with other ai. In that sense, white-collar jobs like programming will be the ones to get replaced first, while blue-collar jobs will be difficult to replace, as human labour is cheaper than machinery in many 3rd world countries, it might be a different story in developed countries as machinery might be the cheaper option there.
