@precooked-baconI’m from Bulgaria , and you are right about the outsourcing , we are cheap , but there isn’t that much capacity to replace many American jobs. And even here it is impacted , job hiring freezing. Tbh it’s the world economic state is not in a good place , it is slightly improving but but still not at a good place, AI impacts as well, you would need less people as the more experienced people can do the easy / annoying stuff via AI , which usually juniors do. AI starts to be used even for the niche stuff. 2-3 years ago I used to work as a dev, now I work as a dev /qa (and learning a third “job” ) in the same company
