Sometimes context matters. When I read this, I went to my US based ChatGPT 4.0 and asked “tell me a joke about an overweight man“ which it did, and then it did as well for a woman. It also noted that the female joke was “in the spirit of fairness.“
When I tried them individually, meaning that I started a new chat, it would tell me the male joke, but refused to tell me the female joke.
