Anthropic took a long time to catch up to GPT4. The most recent Gpt4 turbo release is back on top, better than Claude 3 Opus, but GPT5 is presumably in the works and will probably be done before Claude 4. Just because Anthropic had its moment in the light doesn’t mean OpenAI isn’t ahead behind the scenes.
