@RunaroundAtNight I think the name really doesn't matter because at the end of the day its a name. You are making assumptions based on the name and that's not right. Did you know that autopilot on an airplane doesn't give the pilot the go ahead to just sit back and sleep in first class. That's just the name we give it but autopilot is a driver assistance tool NOT a full replacement yet. So your logic there is flawed.
Also for context, they make it very clear that you need to pay attention, added about a year ago they even have driver attention detection which will strike out self driving if you are using it without paying attention to the road.
