I have watched automation begin to take over the jobs. I was at protests in 2017/2018 where I let the fascists know that it wasn’t the immigrants that took their jobs, that it was “the machines”. The AI revolution against labor is literally no different from the Industrial Revolution, which eventually led to great thinkers like Karl Marx to break down the damage caused by it, who’s responsible, and how to move forward. I believe the Communist Manifesto is just as important today as it was over 175 years ago in explaining how the working class are the first ones to get screwed over, and how the rich are the first and only ones who really cash in. If we’re going to protect jobs from AI then we need to tax the rich so extensively that those people who’ve been replaced by their greed are still able to pay their bills. Which means that the rich should pay the bills for every employee they replaced through automation. And if they don’t like it, too bad. The rich are far too comfortable. They can throw nazi salutes and still think they’re patriotic. They are not patriots. They’re criminals in disguise. And if they won’t pay their fair share they should go to jail and have their assets seized. Because if the working class decides to strike, they will lose income. But if they’re replaced by machines that work for free, then they can’t strike. The only viable solution to me would be to tax the rich so much as to eliminate the billionaire class entirely. If we’re too passive there won’t be a working class, and the middle class will be next. What we’ll be left with is the rich and the poor. We’re backsliding into feudalism. Capitalism is a vicious disease forced upon humanity. We need to cure ourselves of this nasty affliction, and fast
