Bruh. Go study mechanistic interpretability. llms can learn to guess what to say but they have not produced something offbeat or new. Its all mix and match. Like how you can give a guy newspaper clippings fron a hundred years and he can probably find every english word or create it by dissecting other words. This video is just using anxiety and panic baiting. Llms have learned to copy never think because even humans dont know how our thinking works at the primary level. If you keep a human infant and new ai model and teach them the same things. You will observe independent thinking only in a child. Reinforcement learning models are the closest thing to learning human nature they have come.Right now llms are just a cash pool where everyone is spending like crazy. The only truth that these companies wont admit is llms cant be scaled much now. Its just how much compute power you have. Once that fact is recognised it will just be another bubble.
