I doubt ai art is vital to the national security or artistic integrity of any country. Art isn't an arms race. We waited 10 years for avatar 2 because it's worth it. People want quality, not mass produced sludge.
I do agree that ai isn't going away. But it's not urgent or imperative that we adopt it. Laserdisc was better than VHS, VR has been around since the 90s. Technology adapts to people, not the other way around.
