I believe that, because all these claims don't match my experience with AI at all. In enterprise people don't use it as much as people believe, apart from simple rewrites, search engines, and brainstorming, not much they do with it (for the majority of people).
I feel the hype comes from the twitter & youtube influencers and wannabe marketing gurus, again, the same tribe as the crypto bros. Add this to all the hype from the AI labs themselves, to promote and set their position as leader in the market.
