AI is progressing faster than robotic production. Moderate predictions for expert human-level general intelligence is 2029. Meanwhile the earliest prediction for us reaching 1 billion humanoid robots is 2036. That' represents a 7 year lead blue collar job demand has over white collar job demand. Ergo; the rich are automating themselves out of economic relevance faster than they're automating blue collar workers out of existence. And while it's clear that AI growth is no longer excellerating in 2025, as compared to 2023-2024, it has still remained comparable to 2024. As such the working class is still in a stronger position than the capital class in terms of economic relevance. No one knows what the future holds, trends can change, but for now the trend remains in our favor. My heart goes out to scientists, coders, middle management, and the other cognitively demanding professions. The loss of those jobs is absolutely going to exacerbate the gap between the rich and the poor, but again, trends don't support poor humans becoming irrelevant before c-suite humans.
