There is a driver shortage in the industry. The completely autonomous trucks (which i believe are still a decade away from being mass produced and distributed) will help cover that shortage gap. Even then, I believe the government would mandate a driver to be present in the vehicle (the CDL age requirements might change).
Fear mongering with no logic is not a going to scare anyone on this channel.
